Only just started in this game so I don't have any specific reads on any players but the game seems fairly loose. I'm comfortable to limp in and hope the flop hits my high only hand. Happy to raise on the flop with the wrap with no flush draw present and but just call when the re-raise comes in. Obviously I cap the betting on the turn with the nut straight and royal flush draw.
The river brings me the king high flush and makes the low possible. A bet and raise in front of me and the fact they take these actions quickly suggests they are prepared to cap the betting. My gut tells me I'm up against the nut low and nut flush but, especially given the stakes, I couldn't see how could fold. Should I fold the river?
Results: 33.5 BB pot (0.3 BB rake)
Final Board: 7 A Q T 4
SB showed 2 3 8 9 and won 16.5 BB (6 BB net)
BB showed 5 A A 3 and won 16.8 BB (6.3 BB net)
Hero mucked T K K J and lost (-10.5 BB net)
I see lots of spew with a high only hand. You put yourself in a crappy spot otr. I think you played the flop and turn much too aggressively, especially the turn. Interested to hear others thoughts on this....

I actually think turn was okay and flop was really bad. You only have 8 outs and will have to improve to win, and then you might be dead if the board pairs or drawing to half if the low comes.
Yup flop is spew, turn was fine, its not clear if hero should fold river the 1st time (vs some opponents it is),once capped someone is going to have the nut flush like 98% of the time and folding is probably ok
Really hate the flop raise. You have 8 outs to a vulnerable one way nut hand against a range that can three bet you a ton. Not sure what it's trying to accomplish.
River is probably a fold. You're playing one way and SB looks likely to have outdrawn you.
Flop, you should have only called, a very marginal call.
If you do turn broadway, there are only three 9's in the deck that give you the nuts on the river. You are pretty much drawing to runner runner, to be 90% sure you will scoop.
You really want to be holding an ace in this game. Drawing for Broadway with an Ace on the board is just asking for trouble. Its really hard to have a board after the river that isnt paired with only two low cards, only three Broadway cards and with no flushes.
Yes, you played the flop and trun much to aggressively. I am 95% confident you are against the nut low and the nut flush, but since you played it like this you may be against 2 nut lows and one of them with a smaller flush trying to get you to fold. You built a large pot and committed yourself, now you have to call all 4 bets to showdown with second nuts.

A hand with an Ace really has six cards, not five.
If you don't have one, most of the time four of your opponents each have one.
