I love winstar's mix game which is usually spread Friday-sunday... I also went to Maryland Live to check out their midstakes Omaha action, and I must say I was very impressed.. Any other recommendations for mid stakes plo and hi low anywhere in the US of A??

How about if instead, I point out that there existed a perfectly good thread for this topic? Moreover, I'd also like to point out that a very intuitive Bing search turns up that preexisting thread, although for some reason Google's search results are very different. I don't really care which thread we use, but it does make me sad when people create a new place to put information rather than investigating where might already be a good place to put it. The net effect of decentralizing information for no clear reason really doesn't make sense.

Incidentally the best option would be a wiki page. I actually founded the poker wiki on Wikia but I haven't been involved with it in ages. There might be something like this there. I sort of wish 2+2 would get really wild and crazy and add a wiki. We often end up making the same arguments over and over again. I'd rather have one well-edited "canned" argument each time a repetitive topic comes up.

We try to be on top of stuff like this and keep the forum organized, but occasionally we miss one. When that happens, all you need to do is report the post and let us know of the pre-existing thread and we'll merge the threads, like Buzz just did here.

Yes, years ago. It seemed for a while that the omaha games were disappearing, but I am glad to see them back. I love playing at the Beau.

Is truly amazing. Especially during the tournament series. Plays everyday during those and usually just on weekends otherwise. I've seen one of the regs lose 2100 in one night before. And he was back at it the next day

Pre Katrina they ran a 10-20 O8 with an optional $40 bet on the river. >1k pots weren't that unusual. I suspect that -2100 isn't a record for some of the players...

Prob barely worth mentioning, but every Friday (sometimes Sunday too) we play 5-10 full kill O8 at Seneca Casino in Niagara Falls New York. I believe Turning Stone in NY has a game as well as Foxwoods in CT. Best to check Bravo to see the stakes of those.

That game at Seneca has been trying to go the past few Sundays too. I played in it yesterday before it broke because of the 6:00 tournament.

I'm going to Vegas this week and would like to play some O8. The last time I was there a few years ago, and I played the 8/16 game at the Venetian. There weren't many options then except that game. What's the status currently? Any recommendations for where to play O8 in Vegas?

Did the Orleans 4/8 (and perhaps 8/16) die out? I ask because the Orleans isn't exactly a room you would end up at while cruising the Strip.

Looks like the Orleans 4/8 is still going strong, 3 tables right now. I believe the 8/16 regs mostly moved to the Venetian last year.
