That's usually what happens in PLO8 isn't it? It could be the worst of both worlds for sustainability: The sharks have huge edges, as in big-bet games against neophytes, but also have the split pot nullifying variance.

It would be nice to have a report from anybody playing this game. Is it the old Mirage crowd? Are they getting players from the V or the Orleans? Any action?

H/L. I played there last week. The weirdness is, it's literally half-kill, which means playing a kill hand at $9/18 with yellow $2 chips.

That's good to hear, even though 5/10 is a bad structure. The one time i visited the Wynn there were two games running, a 1-2 NL and a 4 LHE, so i was left with the impression that it had lost virtually all its luster. Nevertheless an attractive place to play.

Perhaps i'm missing something, but i don't see a list of actual games running. For example, i pulled up the Casino Arizona page:

Sounds about like every single poker room in the country's ad copy. I couldn't even tell you if CAZ has regular 7-stud games or not. I certainly can't tell the stakes of games from that. For another example, Greektown's listing doesn't even have a place for their corresponding ad copy, even though I happen to know they have a twice-weekly LO8 game.

So although i appreciate the suggestion i don't see PA adding a lot of concrete info. You'd still have no idea whether O8 games actually run or not.

Well, it has all of the phone numbers, etc. all in one place for MP to use. I mean, obv nobody's going to call all of the Vegas casinos but in states that only have a few casinos, I think that site would be helpful. No big deal. Just thought it might help in the research.
