Golden nugget lake Charles has six tables, but unlike lauberge du lac, it deals lo8. I'm staying with my family at lauberge - golden nugget was booked solid!<br />
I can't get to Baton Rouge, much as I'd like to. We're in from Chicago and driving from Houston for the the day/night. But I'm wondering if your game in Baton Rouge might be willing to import to lake Charles to welcome an out of town guest? I'd take care of arranging the table with the poker room manager of course 😄

Just put in interest lists for 5-10 and 10-20 (and 15-30). I'm coming back after dinner. Manager is going to text me if he gets nibbles.

From the Bravo App it looks like 40-80 at the Commerce has been running almost everyday for a while. I'm guessing that's the biggest consistent game around.

Only a few more weeks.. Then when the tournaments over, so is that game.

Anyone know how the Tropicana 15/30 LO8 game is in Evansville? I've heard it's a great game to get into.

is there any regular lo8 games in the u.s. 30/60 or higher?

Steve, search this thread for info on Hollywood Park in LA... fairly recently, I believe they had near daily 40/80 LO8 games with no kill. I have never played there myself.

Hollywood park 40/80 game used to go every day but is now less consistent now due to the death of the primary game starter/supporter

Seminole Hard Rock in Tampa FL has a 3/6 O8 game with a full kill to 6/12 that runs regularly (usually 2 tables)

They also sometimes have a 6/12 full-kill game that runs (from what I've heard, just moved to the area so haven't played/seen it yet)

Unfortunately they do not lower the rake for short-handed tables. I was on the must-move table and we were down to four players and they said they were still going to charge $5 max rake plus $1 jackpot drop.

Did you make it to the hollywood poker open omaha event they just had in st louis?

We just brought the 10/20 game back to the Hard Rock, I guess it used to run years ago. Despite it being the Mayweather fight night (and not being shown in the poker room) we managed to get TWO tables of 10/20 action going, with the main game running until about 4am Saturday into Sunday.

We'll be doing it again every Saturday around 6pm and expect it to maintain given the level of interest we've seen.

4/8 with Half Kill and sometimes Full Kill - Friday nights
Hollywood Casino Columbus, Ohio
usually starts about 6pm

Plenty at rio during Wsop.

Does the 4/8 run at Soaring Eagle in Mount Pleasant, MI anymore?

Since this thread has gotten plenty of replies (and over the last 4 years), would it be possible to make the OP an updated list of the games and stakes? I know a lot of the games will come and go. I tend to look all over the Bravo app for medium-big games but this would be helpful.

Horseshoe Cincinnati 3-6 Saturday evening, half kill - runs occasionally
Shark Tank Poker Club (Columbus) 8-16 Sunday evening, half kill - runs pretty regularly
Hollywood Columbus 4-8 Friday evening, half kill - runs occasionally

Looking at this thread and other places, it seems like Venetian and Rio WSOP have the most plentiful selections for LO8 and PL BIG O games. Am I missing any other good spots to explore O8 in Vegas during the WSOP?

Orleans has 4-8 and 8-16 every day

Your request is a perfect example of why I continue to believe 2+2 would benefit from a wiki.* Indeed, there is a poker wiki out there that you can find without too much trouble.

NB: Mat Sklansky has said that, while 2+2 deliberates whether it wants to install a wiki, it's fine for anyone to link to that other poker wiki. However, after getting hassled by mods in another forum for linking it, even after Mat had made this determination, I'll just leave you to find it yourself, or PM me if needed.

Sorry, but compiling a list of worldwide (or even statewide here in California) live O8 games, or even just sorting through the sites listed in this thread and making sure they're up to date is not something I'm willing to do.

Somewhere in the mods forum, moderators are instructed to not allow links. The instruction is not worded that way, but I think that's the gist of it. And moderators are given lots of latitude in interpreting the "rules." As a result, different forums are moderated somewhat differently by different mods, generally following the customs of the various different forums.

My guess is the mods who hassled you were just trying to do their job the way they thought they should do it. That's basically what niss and I do here. In so doing, we try to keep this O8 forum running smoothly.

At any rate, if Mat doesn't mind you linking to another poker wiki, then I don't mind either. (As a moderator of this site, I serve at his pleasure).

Actually, I didn't even see your replies before I did this, but last night I was watching a boring movie and decided to go through the entire Bravo app to see what O8 games were running (all are Limit O8 unless otherwise noted). This was around midnight EST on Friday 6/12/15 and I don't have any more info on frequency of these games etc. I did not include Vegas because those come and go depending on the WSOP, etc. This is just in order from distance of my zip code.

I did the same thing again for Saturday night. Here are the games that were being played around midnight EST (an arbitrary time, but if a game is running that late at night I assume it lasts a while). Again, this is everything being played according to the Bravo app other than Las Vegas. There were some "4/8 Omaha" and "6/12 Omaha" games listed that I did not include because I wasn't sure if they were O8 (even though those are typical Limit O8 blinds).
