List of O8 games - Page 10 - Omaha 8 Poker Forum

Monday is 3/6 w FULL KILL
Friday/Saturday is 5/10 w FULL KILL
Saturday is also a 10/20 w HALF KILL that starts at noon I believe.

Friday and Saturday starts at 9am, call in at 6am for 5/10. Games go until at least 10pm both days.

3/6 with a FULL KILL ran today (a SUNDAY) and started up at about 12:40 PM or so

Also, they played 1/2/5 Big O on Saturday night.

Curious to know if anyone is a reg in any O8 games that run at Crown Casino, Melbourne (when they run)? IS the game beatable at 2/5, 5/10+ with the seat charge & rake combined?

i played there once when i was traveling and its was ridicilously soft.

Last time I visited, all I heard for a few hours was either "pot" or "fold", which was a good indication of either inexperience in the O8 format, or just in Omaha in general. Did you have a winning session? Would you say in the long term it is a +EV game based on the soft play you saw?

Delaware Park is getting the Thursday 10-20 LO8 as a feature game again. Looking to start on October 2nd 2014.

Should be full of Harrah's Philadelphia dealers.

Forgive me if this is already posted, but anyone know of high-limit fixed O8 games?

I know there is a 10-20 mixed at the Wild Wild West in AC. Does Borgata run a higher fixed O8 game?

Does Horseshoe Tunica have a big O8 game on weekends?

Winnstar in Oklahoma on weekends has 5/10 8 or better limit with a full kill, so most pots are 10/20 limit. Also have 1/2/5 plo round then round of plo8

If I were in Las Vegas looking for a good Omaha-8 game, I'd check out both Orleans and Venetian. They've both been regular Omaha-8 sites in Las Vegas.

But things change and sometimes casinos advertise games that don't actually get offered because not enough people sit for them.

I think if you phone the card rooms, they'll tell you the current status of Omaha-8 games.

I've noticed quite a few guys that I used to see only at the Venetian are now showing up at Orleans. A lot of them just say the Venetians been slow lately. My biggest thing with the Venetian was that on weekdays the game wouldn't start till after 11. There is a steel wheel promotion but I don't think that has much to do with it as they run that promotion a few times a year.

Orleans is a great place to play. Lots of O8 and lots of fish. Granted the avg age is 60, it makes us young guys stick out like a sore thumb!

I will be at the Golden Nugget Lake Charles on Sunday December 28 and looking for an LO8 game. I'd like to play 10-20 or 15-30, but would play a lower limit for the sake of consensus. No kill buttons are allowed at Golden Nugget.

BTW, we have(I should say had) a 10/20 w half kill HO game going at labeurge in baton rouge for a while. It's died out recently but I run an email list if you are interested. PM me.
