Missisipi 10/5/5
5 handed

SB calls, I (480) call with KhJhKsJd2c, HJ (440) raises to 20, button (600) calls, SB folds, I call.

(70)
Js8d5h
I check, HJ bet 60, btn calls

Should I pot or call?

Potting can't be that bad. The problem with calling is that there is not really any good turn cards except a K or the board pairing. And when the board pairs, I will most likely not win any more money.

If I'm deeper, I will always call, if I'm shorter, I will always get it in on the flop.
Here, it's close.

With these bets and calls ahead of you you can get almost all of your stack in the middle on the flop and can put the rest in on any turn so I just re-pot here. Less guessing on future streets.

If you were deeper would you ever limp and then 3 bet preflop?

What is BTN calling preflop with?
A2?
Some pair QQs/suited connector or better?

Do you want to 3-bet there to iso HJ? I guess that improves your position if you had 1 player behind instead of 2.

Open fold pre. Check-jam as played.

- yes but I don't really understand the question

- btn is calling very wide because it's a min raise

- I would never 3 bet a hand that weak

I think shoving flop is better than calling, up to at least SPR=9, so I don't think it's close here at all.

I think limping pre is fine, though depends how aggressive the game plays pre. If it's often min-raised and a bunch of calls, your hand plays very well.
