you struggle with river sizing because you probably have not the balls or the understanding of ranges to turn jxxxx non flush into bluf on river as full pot.
Perhaps you don't realize telling someone he lacks balls or understanding is insulting.
But it is.
There are ways to get an idea across without being insulting.

I didn't intend to troll. Isn't it necessary to intend to troll (or to be promoting something) to be trolling? That's how I look at it... and it's hard to prove intent. (Other mods look at it differently, I think).

Poker in our weekly friendly private game is, for me, a place I can "let my hair down." Trash talk is fun when you're with your friends... and I think we're all in favor of making poker fun.
But would it be fun for you if someone wrote, "you struggle with river bet sizing because you probably have not the balls or the understanding of ranges to turn jxxxx non flush into a pot sized river bluff"? (Might depend on who wrote it... a buddy writing it might be OK... an antagonist writing it, maybe not).
Anyhow, rightly or wrongly I thought Bike's post and Greybeard's rejoinder and counter insult both belonged in this thread.
