My biggest complaint about the poker world is that it is full of uptight pussies. Everyone gets offended way too easy. If everyone didn't try to treat poker like its ****ing golf it would probably be a lot more fun for recreational players. There is a reason this thread instantly became the most popular. Keep going omb and billy I'm entertained

ACR is infinitely more fun to play on than stars. 90% of pros on stars are boring robots. O8 pros are the worst. Poker needs more trash talk. Make poker fun again.

I didn't intend to troll. Isn't it necessary to intend to troll (or to be promoting something) to be trolling? That's how I look at it... and it's hard to prove intent. (Other mods look at it differently, I think).

Poker in our weekly friendly private game is, for me, a place I can "let my hair down." Trash talk is fun when you're with your friends... and I think we're all in favor of making poker fun.

But would it be fun for you if someone wrote, "you struggle with river bet sizing because you probably have not the balls or the understanding of ranges to turn jxxxx non flush into a pot sized river bluff"? (Might depend on who wrote it... a buddy writing it might be OK... an antagonist writing it, maybe not).

Anyhow, rightly or wrongly I thought Bike's post and Greybeard's rejoinder and counter insult both belonged in this thread.

My comment was more of a general observation of today's games than a response to you moving ombs post to this thread. I stopped watching tv poker when people started bringing scarfs with them to Vegas. I miss the days when poker was full of colorful characters like Tony G and Mike Matusow. There is also a fine line between trash talk and insulting people and OMB maybe crosses that line too often on here. I will say his post are often informative nonetheless unlike those of my ol buddy Quantum

Yeah allindark and I were discussing this and it's so true. It happened immediately after BF. US players are so much more fun to play against than Europeans. Especially eastern and esssssssspecially Russians. Sorry to east euros but its true.

They are either boring robots like you say or they have the worst banter ever that usually goes something like 'I something your mother'', 'I hope you die cancer'. Really nice stuff like that or just a standard stuff but they have no banter whatsoever which is partly the language barrier and they just suck at banter unlike Brits, Americans and Aussies. I was almost going to add Canadians but honestly some of the chat I hear from Canadians is just wtf

Yes, bogdaniel was other one I was trying to remember. Bid2biz was on 2p2 at one point at least. I remember Goga, can't remember how much I engaged him in chat, but wouldn't surprise me.
