Yeah sirscoop is/was good....slavik I still battle with now and then in Omaha and mix game weeklies. He massively slowrolled me in an 8 game hand which was tilting but then I was chatting to him in the Omaha hi weekly...which I final table bubbled....seems to be a habbit with me lately failing to close. I think the toughest fields I've faced were probably the $15 NLO8 18 SNGs in 2012.
Another thing that increased variance is the change to more 6-max.

It's an adjustment, but I'm all for variety.
I would expect forced action to increase variance. You are in the blinds 1/3 of the time, so it makes blind play very important. An increase in ROI doesn't necessarily mean less variance. It just means that you're edge is probably higher at that variant, negating/exceeding the increased variance. Sort of like Juicy at hypers.

It's all good streity. I had one incorrect word used in that long post which was solely meant to emphasize how poor omy's comments and ramblings are as a whole. My grammar comment was only meant to add to the point I was making that most posters in this section would agree with. Even cronies have henchmen that will be by their side at times like this
