Hero is CO with with 9bb and AQ42

MP with 14 bb opens to 3x.

It's a turbo and I'm currently 11/21 and 17 get paid.

If I was one or two of the money I would fold for sure but am unsure (ended up getting it in) on the correct play while still 4 people off.

Thanks

I'd getin. You get eliminated some 30% of the time (probably a bit less) but you are making a lot of chips. I'm assuming no antes even.

Cool, thanks. Yeah no antes

I don't think you're quite close enough to the bubble to fold. 18-19 left i would, though.

Can't see anything being better than a jam. Flat is a bit interesting but very messy.

With 9bb and now antes, I suppose it is possible to call and play the flop but this far from the bubble, I would just GII.

for me it depends on stacks of other players. Say there are 2-3BB for all players # 15-21, I will fold. All of them are around 6-8 BB, I would jam.

+1. Also if it's NL, I'd be more likely to fold, as people bust faster there compared to PL.

If you're interested in min-cashing, I guess folding is an option.

Premium hands don't come around that often...I'm raising here.

Re: ICM, I was watching the Australian Open on TV last night (PLO/high only) and it was really interesting watching some of the folds...three handed, one folded AKK6 to the big stack because there was another short stack on the table. It ended up backfiring, as he eventually had to make a stand with a worse hand. Seemed like the wrong fold at the time, but I'm sure there are ICM experts who'll say it's the right move...what do I know!

With equities running so close I can see some extremely nitty folds being correct. That said if the other short stack is somewhat close to mine I think I'd be taking akk6.
