4 handed, 5/10 online.
Villain CO with 60bb
Hero OTB covers (deep with blinds)
Hero dealt: Ah 5s Ts 2s
Villain opens for a minraise. From playing with him in PLO, he usually shows down various low rundowns or low 2pair/paired connectors when MR. Never played O8 with him before tho so no idea what it means here.
Flop Tc 2h 7h
Villain checks
Hero bets 3/4 pot
Villain check/pots
We have 1 PSB left, what's the plan here?
I've only been learning PLO8 for about a week (mostly played 1/2 to 3/6 so far while learning) and actually sat down thinking this was a PLO table, although this is a few orbits in and I realized right away.
So that being said, I'm really not sure what people show up with when they c/r here, so I'm having trouble even analyzing the hand on my own.
I have two thoughts stemming from PLO exp and I don't know how relevant they are:
1) we have medicore 2 way equity, so we probably want to ship now
but
2) we have Ah so if we call we can maybe get a better high to fold on the turn?
I think 2 is incorrect because of the low draw existing on the flop right?
Appreciate any and all input, wish there were more PLO8 games running cuz this game is really fun.
TLDR: I have no idea what I'm doing, what should I expect to see when someone c/pots flop here?

Obv getin at this depth. I think people often show up with stuff like non-nut draw(s) + one pair. There isn't much leeway on the turn after you call a raise on a HLL-board and have SPR 1.

Thanks, I thought that might be the case. I should clarify something in my wording tho, we have one pot size bet left on turn if we call.
I suppose that was evident from the stack sizes anyway, but my wording wasn't great.

Its a snap gii, we should be ahead of his xr range here given stack depths
Also your hand is strong enough to raise preflop

I meant to ask about that actually. I thought because our hand has a higher 10h ranking than a Versus Random ranking, we would want to invite the blinds in as well?

I'd re-raise pre only if villain is opening say +40%. Hand plays well both HU and multiway.
