how good or bad is this 3bet plo8

Blind vs blind in a tournament.
Say we both have 15 BB's.

I'm in big.
I 3bet the small's 2.5x Open with AKK9 (1 suit).

Running some sims I'm only a real dog to AAxx.
I'm 45% vs like AQ24 double suited, or 5432 double suited.

Part of my thinking is that in a hi low game with no low,
my hand doesn't have much playability postflop. I'm also
blocking Aces as well. I like to just call here with like KKJT
double suited hands like that.

Somewhat agg opponent, but given our dynamics I believed he
had a reasonable hand.

Anyways I'm fairly new to this game, so I'm just wondering if others
like or hate this play. Again I just feel there's tons of flops with make
this pretty hard to play postflop without a low. But maybe I'm a donkey

Depends somewhat on how close to money you are or if you can rebuy, but would almost always flat here. You have to have some stronger hands in your flatting range, and this one isnít that hard to play postflop in my opinion. Sure youíre going to fold equity sometimes but that seems better at 2.5bb than jamming as a 45% dog for all 15 bbs.

Always flat. You are not really pushing equity, you mitigating your positional advantage. Just flat and it's easy to commit on many flops and fold on others.
