No, that's not what I said. I said it CAN be better, but that's irrelevant. You shouldn't be choosing your sizings based on how you hope your opponents will react.

I have data on this for fixed limit o8 (it will def not be exactly the same for plo8 but the effect is large). 3 handed flo8 btn raise 43%, 9 handed flo8 folds to btn he raises 33%

Oh one question. Do you mean BTN opens 33% of the time or top 33% of hands? They are not the same, due to exactly the same card removal effect.

This is a good question I never thought about until just now - what I meant was he opens 33% of his range, how often he has that part of his distribution when its folded to him there is something I'm not sure even a solver can tell me.
