yeah they are a joke....they must have seen a nl mtt decrease by 3 ppl and **** their pants

i there wasnt 1 guarantee not met...come in brian and explain pls

The $16.5 plo8 didnt make the guarentee either.

Many people refuse to play pot limit any longer, even with the overlay.

Surely no limit tourneys have no problem making their guarantees.

Instead of dropping PLO(8) tourneys they should replace some with NLO8.

This is just wrong...

You can't advertise on your site that the guarantees will be doubled on sundays and then just slash it without changing the ad sign. If I remember correctly, for three weeks, the Omania page didn't change the info.

When you incorrectly advertise that apples are on sale for 99 cents a pound but make a misprint that says 29 cents, you have to do one or two things:
1) honor the incorrect price
2) post/send a notice of this error and that the correct price is indeed 99 cents.

Usually, 1) happens and then 2) occurs moments after so the company minimizes the amount of apples they have to sell at 29 cents.

In this case, Stars should have removed the 2x guarantee part on the website, but also pay every single player that played in a Sunday tournament that missed the 2x guarantee compensation for the missing overlay.

For instance, if the Sunday $16.50 PLO8 had only 6k in the prizepool and the winner got 20% of the prizepool, he should be credited with an additional $800 (4k overlay x 20%).

There was absolutely no warning and players had every right to believe the 2x overlay would have been honored during/after the tournament.

This is a pretty big fukup by Stars and I think we should be making a pretty big deal out of this. If this was posted in the MTT Community subforums, it would receive more criticism.

I just dug up some an interesting email with support. I played a session that Sunday which consisted of 3 or 4 Omania tournaments. I was surprised to not notice the 2x guarantee and immediately emailed Support the following:

"Hi Support,

Please forward this to Bryan S and his team.

The Omania tournaments today (Sunday) do not have the guarantees doubled. This needs to be recified asap, as they are affecting the guarantees of several tournaments.

Thanks"

Stars replied with the following, which seems to be pretty negligent. The rep could have said: "sorry, there has been a change in the Omania promotion for Sundays, blah, blah blah":

To me, his reply is implying that there was a mistake and the 2x guarantees promotion is still on.

Pretty sure all peak time guarantees filled? Was obv the ones at like 3 AM est weren't going to fill
