The game I was previously playing was a round and round of 1/2/5 PLO and 1/2/5 PLO Hi-Lo. The game was amazing but apparently this game has died out over the last month and the new game is Congress (sometimes called Big O i gather). To alleviate any confusion this game is Pot Limit Omaha Hi-Lo with a 5 card starting hand. I did very well and felt comfortable playing Hi-Lo, but thinking briefly about this new game, I feel as though it may not be possible to attain the same win rate.

Do any players experienced with this game have input as to whether this game which is $5/$5, and played by players who were very weak PLO Hi-Lo at an average stack size of $1000 could be beaten by a player who was handily beating the Omaha Hi-Lo game for $50+ per hour?

I would also appreciate any useful tips outside of playing like a huge nit in multiway pots as there seems to be an absence of any literature on this game.

If you are a knowledgeable plo8 game this should be an easy transition - you may even have a better win rate

In action 5card games you should be able to clean up with solid tag strategies - preflop hand selection should be tighter, a4xxx a5xxx are much weaker than respective a4xx a5xx counterparts in 4 card

Postflop you will also need to adjust hand valuations for the extra card - draw hands become more powerful and you will need stronger made hands to win
