Fixed Limit Omaha hi starting hands

So I have been looking online and it's tough to find any good resource on limit Omaha hi. I asked this question last year and didn't get much.

There is a game at a local charity casino that is running for a few weeks and the game is wild. 8 ways capped preflop sometimes.

Anyways, I am wondering if someone has a good resource to Omaha hi (not pot limit) that I could study.

Or for guidance on starting hands
A few questions
1. is AA95 a good hand to 3 bet an UTG raiser with 2 callers in between? (no suits) What if one of the aces is suited?
2. KK33 - raising? Calling? (one suited king and what if one of the kings is not suited)
3. 9875 (rainbow), just limping? raising?
4. 7766 (double suited)
5. AKT3 (King is suited)

you can likely refer to basic plo ranges and hands like rainbow kk-aa, that rely on the single goal of thinning the field in plo, are folds in multiway situations.
i'd guess you want only hands that are nutty or have a lot of ways to hit flops, being that when you connect, you're likely gonna be stuck calling several streets no matter what you have.

Sammy Farha had a decent book on Omaha (Farha on Omaha) with a section on limit. I would recommend it and since older, used versions can be found cheap.

1. If stacks are shallow, rule of thumb is to always try to get in AA pre if it has any low card to go along with it. Yes, this would be a good squeezing spot, even if the hand is rainbow.
2. You can limp this against some opponents from SB or button, other than that, it's a trash hand, try to play for the whole pot not half.
3. 9875 is also a poor hand, not good low potential, great hand to get quartered with. Fold in most cases.
4. 7766 double suited is an ok hand to open, but tread lightly on certain flops. 456 flop with a lot of action isnt a good thing.
5. AKT3 with a suit is a decent hand to open, no 3betting with this hand pre though

Re: Fixed Limit Omaha hi starting hands

This is high only and fixed limit

Big pairs and higher cards most notably those that can make high or nut flushes are what you want to play

I’d definitely play even a hand as bad as say QQ27 if say a raise came early, a bunch of calls and we have position. Top set is typically best hand and always the best draw. Big pairs thus have their place in the game imo. The game is always so loose so don’t expect or really try to isolate much with big pairs

Re: Fixed Limit Omaha hi starting hands

AA95 and KK33 play better short and are too good to fold. I'd always re-raise to limit the field.

9875 rainbow and 7766 double suited are about making the nuts or at least a set, so they play better multiway and I'd always limp.

AKT3 (K suited) is fairly weak but plays OK either multiway or short, so I'd either re-raise, call, or fold. The decision would hinge on how bad/loose the raiser and limpers are. If they're all birds and the game is playing tight, I'd always re-raise. With the same opponents in a loose crazy game I would limp. If they're tight/tough players, you're not giving anything up by folding and waiting for a better spot.
