is it action? soft? generally how many good players are at a table? are there big stacks? any general info would be appreciated

Yes, it was amazing. Assuming you play fairly well in an online environment you should crush there. Multiple 1 way nut low type drawing players who fold to light on the river. I only played 1 time for a few hours but the game was so good I will visit every time I'm in Vegas. There comps I believe are $1.25 ish per hour and they have a pretty good lower end food court extremely close to the poker room. Hope it helps!

I think it's a very good game. The must move games are usually better than the main game; some of the regulars play fairly tight but still aren't great. There are lots of super gamblers who play often.

Not sure why you're asking if there are big stacks as this is a limit game, but unfortunately a lot of players to buy in pretty short so there are a lot of all-ins and often sidepots, not rare to have 3 or 4 pots in a hand. This really slows down the game. The only reason I don't think it's a great game and don't play more often is because the game is so slow moving that it gets pretty boring and limits your win rate. Plus it annoys me that they recently increased the promo drop to the same $2 they charge in the holdem games, yet they have fewer promos for Omaha than for holdem, and a lot of the promo value can only be gotten if you play 30+ hours per week, which I will never want to do.

I was there during March Madness, played three short sessions on a Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. There were always at least two $8/$16 games going, usually three, so I never had to wait long for a seat.

I would not say they were action games, but I'm used to playing Friday and Saturday nights in Northern California games in which seven or eight players see every flop, sometimes for two or more bets each. So everything's relative.

Nor would I say they were soft games, as they seemed to be filled with mostly local regs. Many of the players were middle-aged or retired nits, though I did encounter a couple of younger NLHE pros who seemed more aggressive and tricky, and one drunk tourist who kept bragging about how much he won betting sports and how successful his business was—he dusted off a couple of racks by playing hands blind and attempting some hopeless bluffs.

I won each time I played, a total of something like $670 in 12-15 hours of play. I picked up a handful of small pots that no one seemed to want with bluffs and semibluffs on the flop and turn—that was my main adjustment against the nits. I'd play there again if I were in Vegas for other reasons, but I wouldn't make a special trip just to go there. The action is much juicier in the Bay Area.

Having said that, friend of mine plays it a lot and says it's very soft.

super fun game.. i also like it when they spread the omaha high limit game .. outside of the station casinos i never see it spread anywhere else.

We've been playing double board omaha hi in all of the bellagio mix games. I don't like regular LO at all, but double-board is a wonderful game.

Ugh, I played that a few times in lower-limit mixed game and thought it was probably the most ridiculous game I have ever played in a casino.

No it's really good. You have to try to figure out when to push one way equity when you're sometimes getting freerolled and things like that. Maybe in some kind of really small game where it's like 80 ways limped to every flop it would be stupid but at a higher level it's a really good game

When I played it in a 6/12 mix at Bally's, I think I was the only person ever folding preflop.
