I moove all-in for 415, button covers, he calls with J high flush.

He's winning at the moment, I have a good table image. I'm pretty sure he folds if he doesn't hit the flush.

I was also shoving if the board pairs on the river. I wouldn't bluff on a K or a J river.

1) Is my bluff OK? It's better if I hold the K or the J in my hand.

I'm pretty sure button is betting KJ twice even without any redraw.

Here is an exercise for you. Think about if both of these could be true
a) you think he would have folded if he didn't have a flush
b) check/raising the turn would have been bad

a) I'm pretty sure he folds river without a flush, Can't be 100% sure obviously

b) true

So then how do you figure check/raising the turn is bad?

I don't like turning a hand with such limited redraw potential into a bluff (runner runner non nut flushes and boats). Note we don't even have redraws to better straight.

I think playing the hand fast or even folding flop is likely better.


Also, repping a flush on river is somewhat optimistic imo, i dont know if villain should fold any kj to your line.
