It depends on how maniacal your opponent is. If he auto-bets the turn with most of his range if you check behind, I think a case can be made for checking and never folding the turn. How wide of a turn bluffing range can you induce?
Hard to tell against a drunk maniac, I think betting is better, I want him to fold some better low draw.
This hand would be more interesting with a bigger spr. Here, nothing much I can do.
