Big O - a couple hands pre, fold or play?

Was watching a phil galfond vid and saw him make a couple folds in 6-max that I normally would call for a single raise. Can't really say how villains play the game.
H1: A
3Q-35. 4-handed, CO pots and he folds in SB.
H2: A
34-3J 5-handed. HJ folds, CO min-opens, and he folds OTB.
Normally I wouldn't think too much about playing these hands (unless they were 3 bet to me), though he did say his intention was to play tighter than normal.
Anyone else folding in these spots?
