fold, LJ (whale that has been kind of quiet pf) raises 8.87, fold, CO calls 8.75, BTN (reg) 3B to 39.75, fold, Hero calls, LJ calls, CO folds

Flop: (130) 4

(3 players)
Hero (BB) checks, JL checks, BTN checks

Turn: (130) 7

Hero checks, LJ pots, BTN calls, Hero?

My thoughts are we should just lead out on the turn.
Also turn check raise is probably too thin?

Turn seems like a straightforward c/f to me -- am I missing something? With no boat outs and only the second nut low draw I'm not putting any more money in here. Against a pot and call I'm not excited about drawing to a flush/second nut low on a paired board.

Pf seems a little loose to me, turn seems like a pretty easy fold. You might be drawing to a deuce for a quarter.

Thanks for the responses! Im new to this game so im still pretty clueless but the responses have been helping. And wow i thought this hand was a monster pre but now i can def understand how it is closer than i had initially thought

How deep are stacks? Pre is a little loose but with whale it might not be terrible, at least post-flop playability is good.

As played you just need to fold turn, its too dangerous to draw on a paired board and without the nut low draw.
