Hello, is there any articles/threads/e-books etc. with information on short-med stack shoving ranges in PL/NLO8 mtts? I feel like i'm tighhtening up too much in these, but perhaps it's just a run of being card dead lately.
I was playing a $109 NLo8 the other night and 18 were paid. 21 left and i'm one of the 3 shortest stacks...
i had 9k, other two had 7 and 5k. The next highest above me was 14k.
blinds 1250/2500 with 200a. We are playing 8 handed, i get dealt A682 with the 68 suited and there are 2 folds to me...not a great hand but can we really afford to wait at this point? I thoght this was a fairly tough spot given bubble dynamics.
Any who, i'd rather not be in that spot to begin with so this takes me back to original question; any good info out there on tihs?
I'm shoving, not doing terrible against any hand really. You have 14k instead of 9k, probably fold. Thing is equities are so close in O8 and 9k has next to no fold equity. Best to take this opportunity and get it in with like 56ish% on average against BB if it folds to him.
I'm no ICM expert by any means, but if it's -EV then it's not by much lol
Info on this will be more scarce and not as straightforward, no push fold charts for O8.
