omg, this maniac showed up at 1/2 NLO8 on cake today and was willing to get any hand in preflop, and i ran hotter than god and made 5.5 buyins in about 100 hands, which is a HUGE boost to my roll. i've never seen anything more glorious in my life than all my double suited A2 and AAw hands flop flush + nut low draws against his janky 255T hands that he kept shoving with preflop. god, today feels like such a gift. ill never forget the first time i made over a grand in less than an hour.

It probably raises an interesting point regarding always keeping your composure, not tilting, game selecting well etc. when things are either not going well or remain relatively static for an extended period of time......

You just simply never know whats around the corner and when you get presented with an opportunity like this and are fortunate enough to take advantage of it (god knows that doesnt always happen)..... you want it to be worth something.

Ive found that the longer i do this..... the more i realize that most of the time its like sitting around j*cking off with no progress (im sure this is true at the higher limits more than anything), but its the way you play during the tough and stagnant times that allows you be successful and reap these types of rewards..... great going!

When they asked Chip Reese what he though made him such a great poker player (and this was confirmed by everyone hed played with)..... he said my 'A' game is probably not the best of everyone's 'A' game, but my 'F' game is like a 'B+'. He just never tilted.
