Since I’m assuming this is supposed to be folded pre should we just snap fold post or take our equity(bad fd and nut lo) and jam since spr’s are relatively small?

Perhaps pre is OK, I don't know as I don't play 5-card really.

I think flop must be a fold. Q-high fd is rarely good and there must be at least one other A2 out there, right?

Zero chance its a fold pre, zip, zero, none. Any other action is better. Easy flop fold though

So I didn’t make that big of a mistake pre then. Theres also the aspect of wanting to give more action in these private games and not nit it up too much for obv reasons.

I would’ve thought it’s closer pre since we don’t have nut suits + too many high cards.

I don't know that this needs saying but A2 + bunch of high cards is better than A2 + bunch of low cards. And all of those hands are a lot better than AKJ88

If the game plays like that, consider backraising pre. No point in 3-betting, let someone do that for you and then 4-bet with good hands.

Yeah I was surprised to see his showdown but happy at the same time. I’m trying to get better at this game while also trying not to be the worst player at the table

Oh that’s interesting. So you’d backraise with a hand like this against one or two others who could have A2xxx aswell?

I mean yes, though you'd like to be ds or at least A-suited I guess. But very rarely all 5 have legitimate hands and AA is getting more unlikely.
