Hi all,

Hero limps AA235hhss (to ace) utg in 2/2 $5 btn straddle game three-handed and utg1 makes it $15, btn calls and hero l/rr $60. Only raiser calls. $425 eff.

Flop($135): Q-8-4r with one backdoor flush draw. Hero $100, V calls.

Turn ($335): 9h brining our backdoor nut flush draw. Hero jams $250 or so.

Thanks,
DT

You do this a lot where you for whatever strange reason don't bet the max amount in a spot where you are clearly committed. Why bet 100 on the flop when you can never fold to a raise and you are jamming to most turns anyway (even to a 9)?

If you limp utg (I don't) I think pre is fine. Then just pot the flop leaving 230 behind for the turn pot which will be 405. This way you are saying you won't back down on any turn, thus your flop bet is effectively an all-in bet.
