You're saying OP's opponent played the hand badly? I think that's fairly obvious.
As for OP's line, I think it's pretty much OK. I disagree that villain would fold A23K to a lead, but I don't think that makes the lead bad, as A23K is too specific a hand to worry that much about, and you're pretty much a coin flip in equity against it. The important thing is to make sure you realize your equity, which you will almost always accomplish by continuing to bet.
Once the fourth straight card comes, you might as well go ahead and turn your hand into a bluff, as you have good blockers to the nuts and you know you're behind when villain calls the turn Q.
