2/5 Big O at the Wynn 2/5 Big O at the Wynn

I've been seeing a 2/5 Big O game at the Wynn on Bravo over the past month. Seems to be running most days. Has anyone played this game or have any info? Hopefully Big O runs there during the summer also because I've been playing the Big O games at the Rio for several years and they are getting worse and worse, not to mention the Rio is a mess.

Any info is greatly appreciated.

What's been going on with the Big O game at Rio?

I played it a few years ago but more recently the game is incredibly slow because most dealers have never dealt it and you get so few hands per half hour for your $7 time and the players are more competent. I did notice this past summer that there were more international players vs the Texas/Oklahoma/California players.

And yes, the Rio in general is such a mess for any game I can see how Big O could be the biggest max.

Any info on this Wynn game would be great.

Yeah, the dealers at the Rio during the WSOP have to be the worst dealers in all of poker. It doesn't help that the newbies get thrown to the wolves when they have to deal Big O, mix games, etc.

I know what you mean about the players too... The 5/5 big o was a complete rock fest for the past 2 years with only a few exceptions and I generally come out 2x for a week-ish each time.

Plus, comps are spotty at best. In 2017 I played the 1/2/5 Big O $1000 max at Venetian a lot, but would prefer to play a little bigger.

The games are pretty bad. The 20-40 and 75-150 Omaha 8 games at the Rio can be ridiculously good or bad. There are times when I've sat with people who can't even read their own hands and/or play every hand passively at 20-40 and then at 75-150 there will sometimes be some rich guys who also play that way but that is rare maybe a few hours a week the rest of the time it is some tough regulars who are the best O8 players in their hometown/country and the game is not good at all.

I'll be hoping to get Big O into the games/lineups at Encore Boston when it opens, I just hope it is authorized by the Gaming Commission. I know that I can't play Big O at Foxwoods/Mohegan because the GC there hasn't passed it for CT.

You'll see me at BigO or O8 when Encore Boston opens too. I live 5 minutes away. I really hope they spread these games often.

Also, I played 20-40 O8 with a 60 kill at Rio last summer. Players were ridiculously bad. It was insane. My only regret was to discover this at the end of the WSOP. If the games are the same, I am going to make it my game of choice this summer.
