Much easier to loose your stack in Limit. The play is crazy. The betting on draws is so prevalent that it becomes counterproductive to play those games, for me. Higher limits are much better, but the 1-2 games are just crazy.
And it drives me crazy that you can't bet enough to make em fold.
Believe it or not. Hawaiian Gardens has .50-1 NL games. (actually, it's 1-1 as the small blind puts in an extra .50 to the rake.)
I don't find the play to be abusive. More fun for me than any other tables I play at. You get to watch the fledgling players develop their play. With cards, and with their mouths.
The money is so easy for a tight player. If you can handle the occasional sucks. Cuz they will be calling you. When at these tables I rarely consider a hand lower than a Slansky 2.
Although, when you can get in cheap, putting a very aggressive player to sleep with an 84o is truly fun. Isn't it?
And if I'm sitting next to a headphoner? Well, I put em on.
