Im currently starting to read Matthew Jandas book and Ive heard there is a TON of information in the book. I usually just read the book without doing anything no writing material down etc.

Should I? Any tips for taking the material in and memorizing it?

Different people learn differently.

How did you learn from your school books best?

For me, the best way is to read the book through first. Then go back through at a much slower rate taking notes and really thinking in depth about the material

Here is what I do when I read a book, listen to a podcast, watch a strategy video or read an article:

1. Read/listen/watch for the first time.

2. Read/listen/watch for the second time and take notes in a notebook.

3. Read your notes.

4. Brief out "top 3 things to do (or not to do)" from your notes

5. Apply those 3 things to your game

6. Re-read your notes from time to time

Might sound like an overkill, but that's how I roll
