Do i deserve a second chance? Do i deserve a second chance?

Ironic how FTP is trying to reclaim their 'good name' after being exposed as a scumbag ponzi scheme 2 years ago, but they won't let you do the same thing after 3 years.

Oh well, what can you do?

I suggest you politely email them every 6 months and ask (without any arguments) what you can do to get unbanned.

(also: please have someone edit your emails to fix your broken grammar.)

Your problem does not involve just poker or cheating: you don't know how to ask for things from a corporation, and you don't know how to compose an essay. Learning these two things will be far more valuable to you than anything that could happen in your poker career. First, I'd like you to rewrite your original post using 1/6 the number of words and stating your point in the first paragraph; second, the next time you tell anything to anyone on the Internet (not just a poker site), make sure that they're listening AND that they're sympathetic before you admit anything that can be used against you.

I'm confused, I'm assuming pokerstars has e-mail support in different languages in addition to multi-language client support. Why not write to them in your native language instead of english?

Kudos to Stars/Tilt. Cheaters should be permabanned and outed to all sites IMO.

I am surprised you would expect to get any sympathy (and indeed receive some) from the people in the poker community that you stole money from.

And I don't know why you would think Stars would give a rat's ass about your Sharkscope rating.

Sounds like you were probably playing underage, too.

kudos to stars
yeah but if you bank at a different bank, and then Chase buys that bank, but keeps it as a separate bank. They can then close that acct too? just wondering what time line was as far as, stars/ FTP.. I thought they were separate entities.

Ban for life imo, I personally have had money put in to my account from pokerstars when they realised I had been sat at tables where collusion has taken place much to their credit. However how do I know they have caught all the people who have cheated me out of cash or exactly how much iv been ripped off with.

HANG op and give me his accounts money is my verdict

I applaud stars/ftp for barring you from playing at ftp.
Cheaters are obv scum and can't be tolerated. If I was in your position, I would not expect to be let back in. I would certainly not be surprised (as you seem to be) if they permabanned me.

If English is your first language (I doubt it is), then you have bigger problems.

You ruined your online career. It's over. Find something else to do. You should be banned from all online poker sites, not just Stars/Tilt.

hell no! Now go scam on Ipoker.

Did you read the OP? He clearly still has the same mindset and hence it was an easy decision for stars

You made a mistake and this is the penalty you will have to live with. Lots of good suggestions on what to do. Find another site and move on.

Very good article, thank you very much

am i the only one who thinks it´s hillarious that after he threatens them to work another way around their terms of use and brags ith being a winning player, they also ban him from full tilt?

well played stars
05-21-2013 , 11:14 AM
Have to go with stars on this one. Being someone who has never cheated at cards and cant play on full tilt or stars just because I live in the USA, i have no remorse whatsoever for you. Go get on party or one of the other 10 soft ROW sites and quit complaining.
05-21-2013 , 12:09 PM
No, surely you can find a site to play that does not know you are a cheat. With your imagination, you should be able to find a way around their rules, or better yet - start your own site so you can see all the cards.

Many murderers on death row want another chance.

Zee Justin got a second chance, why not this guy?
05-22-2013 , 07:53 AM
i dont understand . why u do send an email to re open an account on stars , if u playing and winning on FTP ? , are u kidding?
05-24-2013 , 08:22 PM
Reporting other players who personally stole money from you does not make you more trustworthy.
They could give you a second chance, but you don't "deserve" one.

Shake it off dude. You realized you screwed up and are making a good attempt to get over it. There's alot worse things you can do with a computer than what you said. Do your thing

I think the best part of this post was when he started FT banned him after learning about his ban from stars.

reap what you sow.

Agreed

I was feelin bad for ya until the I will just use friend or girlfriends account to bypass ban. LOL, even if you would do that, don't come out and say that. Dumb. Also, when stars bought out tilt and you emailed to get back on stars, what did you think would happen to your ftp account if they decided not to reinstate you. NOT EVEN WORTHT THE RISK, its almost the same site. Dumb. Thats probably why you cheated.

Do you realize how much of a hassle it is for stars to deal with collusion. What happens to that money. Do they refund everyone? If they do they lose out because there probably is not that much dough in a 20 dollar sng players account. Especially since a good ROI is like 15% or some ****, idk i play cash. Do they give it to the guys in 3rd or 4th when you and your friend come in 1st and 2nd? What about the guy who loses all his chips the first hand to neither you or your friend. Does he get a refund? What about the time it take every grinder to grind those tourneys whose now -ev because of your collusion. Good luck finding somewhere else to play that frequently runs 15-30 dollar sngs where you can get your money out that easily. Decisions have consequences, nuff said.

Let me show you how a see ur post:
"But you did not ever give me the opportunity,to prove that i can steel be a normal poker player."
I read it like this:
"But you did not ever give me the opportunity,to prove that i can steal from a normal poker player."

I guess that resumes it all. The rules are made to be applied. Understand that anyone who stealed in the past, if gets a 2nd chance, might dissapoint again!
+ that you create a dangerous precedent: anyone with an account closed can put down some nice words and promise not to cheat again, and boom: they can play again. Why you should get a 2nd chance, and anyone else doesn't get it?

The action was done, it doesn't matter that you regret it now...

Final answer: NO NO NO

I think OP could have got what he wanted if he:

#1 waited the 3 years they told him to wait ( It wasn't clear to me if he did wait)
#2 apologized in a sincere and respectful manner
#3 not allude to how he could cheat the system again if he wanted to

FWIW, I think being young we don't understand what a true and sincere apology is. Often, young people often apologize in a tone that says, "Well, even though its not really my fault and even though you are being unfair, I'm going to say that I'm sorry ..."

A real apology has the tone, "I messed up, I learned from my mistake, I humbly beg your forgiveness...". Also, at no time should you ever indicate that its the other side that is being unreasonable or unfair or is at fault.

Agree with this.
