Yea new to forum just joined. I have been playing online for 15 years. But i live in they u.s. So i cant play for real money. It is basically pointless. So I want to start playing live. I also pay better attention live. I have not been able to find any kind of. Web page or forum that cover the topic. Of What is the easiest way to calculate. The pot or at least get pretty close to what the pot is. Want get it to where it becomes second nature for the most part. Any kind of web page link or message would be appreciated. Thanks

Pretty much holdem don't really see. Any other game around here in Michigan. Think i saw one PLO game. But it applies to all games.

each round, multiple the final bet size by the number of callers, and add that to a running total. You will be off by a little bit, but it is close enough for most EV and pot odds calculations

For example

blinds 1$-2$, UTG+1 raises to 8, 3 callers, both blinds fold, I put the pot at $32. On the flop, UTG+1 bets $20, one caller, I think ($40 plus $32. Pot is $72)

Do this for pots that you aren't in. When you are driving, practice this by running through hands you recall, or making hands up, and track the pot in your head. Eventually, it will become second nature, and you will almost always have a sense of how big the pot is.

With that said, what is your issue with online? Plenty of great places to play for US players. I would steer awatly from ACR/Black Chip because they offer RB and there are lots of grinders compared to recs but Bet Online, Bovada/Ignition have great games. Have tons of them even up to 5/10. Offer fast crypto cash outs or just get a check.

BetOnline has also just recently had a Bad beat jackpot of 500k and 998k hit.

I just try to pay close attention and keep a running tally in my head, also noting how much is lost to rake. It helps to keep me from autopiloting too.
