Zuckerberg Says He's Not Running For President (he totally is tho) Zuckerberg Says He's Not Running For President (he totally is tho)

So apparently aspie techbro zillionaire Mark Zuckerberg would like us to know he's not planning on running for president. He's just hiring former Clinton pollsters (yay!) and taking multiple trips to Iowa and having his picture taken with truck drivers as part of his "New Year's resolution," which is totally just a normal thing rich people do when they aren't running for office. I hear Mark Cuban summers in Cedar City.

Sign me up for a competent *******. Seriously. But man does he seem arrogant as **** and generally insufferable.

Never really understood why some thought the "im not running guys...well, since many think i should, i guess ill do it for the country" was a good strategy.

I think i might take him at his word here.

Is he even old enough? Have his balls dropped yet?

Pop culture celebrity billionaire with no experience in government and a cult following? Can't see any downside to this or any recent examples of how this might turn out.

He's only 33. I think the minimum age requirement now is 70.

Out of current possible 2020 candidates, Zuckerberg seems the most competent.

Do liberals fall for the rich = smart nonsense too?
08-05-2017 , 02:56 PM
Errr, wuh? Who counts as "possible?" He is among the least competent imo.

Out of who is likely to run at this point in time.

If he's 33 now he'll be old enough in 2020

Also, Clintons pollsters told her she was vulnerable in many swing states. She just didn't listen because she was literally too busy signing autographs as madame president

I've seen this movie before. 8/10 would watch again from the left side of the couch.

if by scratch you mean stealing someone else's idea and initial development work.

He was kayaking in Alaska on the Fourth of July when a bald eagle swooped down, landed on his shoulder and told him that his country needed him to run. What was he supposed to do, say no?

It's a good thing he doesn't have access to the private data of millions of Americans which he might use to gain an unfair advantage with voters.

This is immediately what ran through my mind. Also he can adjust the Facebook algorithm to claim that any bad news about him is fake news and all good news isn't.

Imagine him integrating everybody's personal data on Facebook with the NSA servers. Talk about a nightmare.

I like him because he doesn't talk like a politician and he knows how to do technology and he will use technology to make America good again.

Zuck is a name on a long list of, "If Trump can do it then I can too!" people.

Usually followed by a 2nd "If__________ becomes President, I'm moving to Canada" list right after.

I think Madonna is the only celebrity out of hundreds who actually followed through on one of these threats.

Is there any reason why DEM establishment wouldn't back him? Obviously it's not his 'turn", but I think they've learned their lesson on that.

Does he hold any positions that are contrary to generic D. Seems like his ideology is in the right place.

Think he'd just be a left-wing version of Trump: a billionaire businessman diving head first into the highest office in the land in a field that he has no practical experience in.

Sure he's a smart guy unlike Trump but just because he created a social network doesn't mean he will automatically be a competent POTUS. The whole "if he runs the country like his business" notion didn't work out with Trump and it won't work with Zuckerberg.
