It's already been debunked BY THE AUTHOR of the study for christ sakes. Of course that doesn't stop Republicans from repeating it on air in the hopes of confusing voters.

Even sites like dailykos are introspective and critical of democrats when their actions call for it. There is alot more introspection from the left than from the right, which closes ranks and often uses a single set of talking points across the board, from murdoch media to GOP senators. This is one of their strengths and weaknesses.

I imagine if Obama started trashing unions, destroying the environment, useless wars etc etc he would be called on it immediately by the left. Also i'm sure you would call CNN/MSNBC left leaning networks, Media Matters covers them as well.

Edit: goto dailykos.com right now, they have a huge section on Harman and her lobbying of the NYT / defense of warantless wiretapping. They regularly take on 'Blue Dog' democrats etc etc.

There's a reason the right wing 'media matters' sucks, it's just another propoganda outlet. www.newsbusters.org, right? They make some points, but, it's not even comparable. Hell they cite Fox News as a source without any other backup...

Curious ...

How many Latin American leaders did our CIA "neutralize" with their convenient, foolproof and impossible-to-investigate method of plane crash?

Yea, this is really evident by all the work on media matters criticizing Obama for expanding the war in Afghanistan. Oh wait:

Maybe you can enlighten me, but is there a single article on media matters critical of a single thing Obama has done?

Slight tangent but w/e has anyone read the mao's little red book or even know what it is i was walking down a market street in beijing and saw it.

It's a book containing a pile of Mao's quotations and musings. I've never read it, but I believe I have found a copy of it at archive.org.

Hopefully it's legitimate, as it is currently on the d/l.

Edit: looks legit.

Double Edit. (Due to having read most of it)

Outside of the obvious ideological complaints, the vast majority of his rhetoric is excruciatingly banal. I'll read anything once, but most of his silly ideas have been expounded by more intelligent Marxists; and the rest of it is just speculative fiction, poorly prosified.

Wow, I wasn't expecting all that much when I opened this thread, but it has been very entertaining.
