Hopefully they won't back down until it gets some national publicity. But I assume most here agree that they are practically drawing dead.

Spoiler:
Not a trans issue.

Umm you do know that trans people aren't people in disguises as the other gender, right?

04-30-2018 , 11:34 AM

Mods please merge with the Trump poker economy thread, tia.

David really is an idiot. I wonder how long this thread will last.
04-30-2018 , 02:31 PM
No wonder he got on well with wil when he was here.

It's easy to see how this rule could be used to attack trans people even if the issue in the article has nothing to do with it. How long are you required to answer to your old self as you transition into a new self? How many people really benefit from this rule? Or is it just marketing so they can make hay about the "pros" and famous people in the field?

Good heavens. Will she use the men's room? What if she peaks?

“Participants may not cover or conceal their facial identity. Tournament officials must be able to distinguish the identity of each participant at all times and may instruct participants to remove any material that inhibits their identification or is a distraction to other participants or tournament officials. Participants may wear sunglasses and sweat shirts with hoods, but may be asked to remove them if tournament officials cannot identify them.”

I'd say based on the text they just want to be able to match your face to an ID.

Obviously the reference to transgender relates to the fact that people who dress in a way that tends to indicate that they are the opposite of the sex they are born with could get caught up in this rule. I never fully realized untll now how stupid 127 IQs who, in spite of studying and doing their homework, couldn't get accepted by Ivy League colleges.

No, they would not:

Trans people aren't hiding their identity. They are showing it.

this is fairly offensive. Insinuating someone dressed in a costume is equivalent to a trans-gendered person is repugnant. OP should be ashamed.

I never wonder why people by and large have stopped visiting this forum.

Bull**** threads like this are what drove them off.

I will never buy another poker strategy book, period. However, I would absolutely buy a fiction book by David titled The World Series Of Poker Meets The Transgender Issue. I don't care if it's only a short story in e-book format, I'll pay $29.95.

Maybe you should learn what transgender actually means?

He sure should. He should be banned actually. Anyone other than DS posts that, they are gone permanently.

Better off getting ol' Chuck to write "Sklansky Pounded in the Butt by a Printout of His ****posts."

The titles of Chuck's books are hilarious. Never brought myself to read one.
