Here we go, y'all!

Directions: Vote for one person in each matchup.

Hannity vs. Pence looks like the marquee matchup here.

Ok now this is getting tough. Huckabeast and DeVos both just horrible humans. Same for Hannity and Pence, zero redeeming qualities.
04-14-2018 , 01:38 PM
Pence and Hannity is the slightly more difficult pick in this group but knowing Pence’s extreme religious views, being hand picked by Manafort, and him being suspiciously quiet with everything in this administration makes me lean towards him.
04-14-2018 , 01:46 PM
Huckabee goes out and spews the bull****, and DeVos works to ensure your children are stupid enough to believe it.
04-14-2018 , 04:52 PM
Pruitt over Mnuchin for obvious reasons.

DeVos over SHS. SHS is an awful human, but the effects will not be felt years after this administration comes to an end.

Bolton over Flynn clearly.

Pence over Hannity just because Pence is actually in the administration.

i voted flynn over bolton because bolton is only dangerous if you listen to him. flynn will straight up commit treason and plot to kidnap americans just for cash payoffs, he's a ****in loose cannon
04-14-2018 , 06:56 PM
ya I mean its not even close that flynn is worse than bolton. flynn talked the usa out of supporting the kurdish rebels so that turkey could slaughter them. mind you that the kurds were the only group that was really taking on isis and destroying them. and thats like not even his worst move.
04-14-2018 , 06:57 PM
Flynn is clearly (somehow!) a worse person, but Bolton's Sklansky Bucks body count is basically infinity.

Even in a Donald Trump administration, there are all sorts of individuals who could realistically have been named Secretary of Education and--while still deplorable--be a huge improvement over DeVos. Good luck finding someone worse who can get confirmed. She is the nut deplorable for her position.

I could be just underestimating both the impact of the Press Secretary and Huckabee's skillset, but to me she is pretty typical of what one would expect for a Trump appointee in that position. Impressive, but nowhere near as elite as DeVos.

Agree w/ RanierWolfcastle

I think Huckabeast gets too much credit for being competent. She is an improvement over Spicy, for sure. But the recipe for spewing bull**** is not that complicated. Her VORP is low, she just happened to replace someone who was worse than a RP.

DeVos on the other hand is elite and difficult to top.

There are plenty of people who could do what Huckabeast does. Can't say the same about DeVos. Her combination of malicious, corrupt, and stupid is off the charts and she is uniquely suited to her position. I don't think she would go quite as hard in the paint to gut any other dept. Gutting education really gets her juices flowing .

Bolton getting the 4th seed with only 6 days in the administration is impressive, even if it's based mostly on his body of work.

Loving all of the discussion and thoughtful writeups that this has generated.

"Swamp Sixteen" is A+
04-15-2018 , 12:53 AM
wow mike pence closed the gap on hannity, he was way behind but now they're tied and that's good because pence is more deplorable. pence is everything bad about hannity and worse, the only difference is hannity is a big loudmouth and mike pence puts on the veneer of a more reasonable person by keeping his mouth shut

Just because Pence is the silent partner in this nightmare doesn't mean he's good enough to lose to Hannity. Hell, Hannity isn't even a Trump official. He's just some bigmouthed douchebag.

On the other hand, Hannity is more of a WH advisor than most actual WH advisors at this point.

Pence looks and talks so genially compared to the rest of the field that l have to consciously stop and remind myself of his awfulness. He's a character straight out of Massive Resistance, but for women and lgbt people.

yeah I'm with this. Flynn is more likely to take direct action, but he's just in it for himself. Bolton is more of an influencer but dude is as bloodthirsty as they come.

ya I just voted on worst person. not person who will do the most damage. if its the latter then the whole game just reduces to whoever is in the most important position with the least oversight. so, proly sessions.

I was just going on whoever is the biggest scumbag pretty much.

This group is gonna be the group of death compared to B
04-15-2018 , 02:15 PM
Pruitt is my horse to win. Go go go.
04-15-2018 , 04:09 PM
Some of you are voting wrong. DOE isn't that important and certainly not as important as the Ministry of Disinformation.
04-15-2018 , 09:39 PM
I mean Pence had to reject everything he ever claimed to believe in exchange for power, but Hannity has waged an unending public assault on reality using the playbook of America's enemies, and he secretly believes it doesn't matter whether he's right or wrong or drags the country down to his hellscape.

Really it's just two nihilists actively working against truth, justice, and the American Way. But I think Hannity actually has more power for now, so I chose him. Kinda coin flip.

Sessions being out before the S16 invalidates the whole exercise.
