Who will run against Trump in 2020? Who will run against Trump in 2020?

Because she'll play up the things that she's lefty on. She'll be as progressive as anyone else on stage - she's for medicare for all, an early adopter of the green new deal, and she'll be even more dovish than Bernie on foreign policy. She's also got veteran credibility. And yes, she's legit hot.

She quit the DNC to support Bernie and was outspoken against Hilary, so she's been on the DNC ****list, and therefore MSNBC, WaPo, NYT ****lists, for the last few years. And she's kept that up by not going all in on Russia. So I get how that means she's unpopular here. I even remember people here saying she'd be primaried this last election (LOL). But I think the people here who are referring to her as Republican, etc., honestly don't know much about her, and she's going to be under the radar to some of you.

she's gonna be under the radar all the way until she drops out of the race after getting 0.17% in iowa

I like Tulsi alright. Think she's been unfairly smeared by the DemE type people. She plays well with independents (I know a non-voting libertarian who likes her) and I think she's pretty legitimately anti-war, doesn't take pac money (anymore supposedly), anti-drug war, pro-green new deal.

She's unpopular here as far as people have commented because they think she's a Putin/Assad stooge and a Hindu Nationalist.

She would have a much better chance in the general election than in the democratic primaries.

Tulsi Gabbard is not your friend

Friend posted positively about her candidacy and I became 100% sure she must have been on Bill Maher (lol). Correct of course.

Weak sauce and Noam Chomsky has been on Bill Maher's show FFS.
01-12-2019 , 01:49 AM
Barbara Lee has been on Bill Maher.

Assuming the Mueller investigation is finished by 2020 and the report spells out at least the stuff we already know that's going to be a bad look for her.

Trump is weak so everyone wants to run now. Where the **** were these people last election cycle when they all sat out and treated Hilldawg like the second coming?

Tulsi is definitely in a weird spot politically where every establishment kind of person hates her and most everyone very far in any direction politically hates her. But, they don't hate hate her, just a little hate. So, she'd never stand a chance in the primary, but would probably win the general. And she's not a centrist either. That's not really a thing other than what conservative people loyal to the Dem party and liberal(ish) people loyal to the Republican party call themselves.

They all probably correctly figured that Hillary would beat them in the primary.

The posters here have brought up some serious negative factor about every candidate mentioned. Since it is now accepted knowledge that the best way to win is to go negative, every one will thus be seriously tarnished by the others. By convention time it will be seen that the only way out of this problem will be to nominate Michelle Obama.

I forget which podcast I heard it on, but I think they're actually gonna randomize the debate participation to some extent.

Edit: OK, I think I found some confirmation of that here.

From what I know about her, voting record might not accurately represent where she is on the spectrum. I.e., she's more progressive on issues than a typical Dem but more conservative on others, almost like some libertarian qualities, so the left-right spectrum applied to her is a bit weird.

Also part of why she triggers this forum is her Greenwald-esque approach to the Russia thing, and if all the Dem candiates are trying to out Russia each other and she's focusing populist policies it can put her more in the spotlight.
tulsi gabbard carries water for assad and her best friend in washington is trey ****ing gowdy

and hard ****ing pass on kamala harris too. seriously awful candidates

Everyone knew the DNC would try to **** them over if they challenged Hillary.

If a Dem other than Michelle becomes president, will you ever admit you were wrong here?

yikes Microbet, not a good look stanning for Tulsi

Anyone who even uses the words "stanning", "carrying water", "not a good look", "optics" ever should be ashamed. It's always moronic.

just in case people thought she changed or some other horse****

she's virulently anti-gay and is trying to cover it up

Breaking: Julian Castro is throwing his hat in the ring.

Like I don't love Tulsi or anything, but in a forum where half the people campaigned for HRC, criticizing someone for not hating Tulsi Gabbard is sorta insane, but mostly it's just buying into very serious person bull**** of people who are approved of by higher authorities and falling for hit pieces on people who aren't.
