Who will run against Trump in 2020? Who will run against Trump in 2020?

Oprah wins Wisconsin at least as hard as Obama did AINEC.

The path to overwhelming republican control of the state legislature was a lot more complicated than, "herp derp, we vote for GOP cuz reasons."

Dems ****ed themselves so very very hard at every opportunity over the past decade or so.

Tammy Baldwin's victory in the senate race was indeed unexpected though, and it was due to the Republicans tearing themselves apart in the primary and the winner having zero dollars left for the General. He didn't run ANY ads for 3 weeks leading up to the election because he was straight up broke.

Walker won because his opponent sucked and he was actually very popular in Milwaukee, which normally goes hard for dems. He won again because dems let the same moron go against him. Third win was against an opponent who got caught driving drunk in a state vehicle being used for personal reasons, and also was generally just an awful candidate. Without those factors, those races are a lot closer.

We aren't a hard blue state, but we lean blue and the red status lately is mostly because our local democrats are mentally challenged.

The latest entrant in the upcoming Governor's race on the democrat side is the guy who gave the keys to the city of Madison to Fidel mother****ing Castro.

Wisconsin dems are just dumb.

Now here's a poster above that gets it.

The only correction I would make is I would remove the word Wisconsin above.

I wish you could take time to explain how voter suppression in Wisconsin stole the election for Trump, and how voter suppression in 2020 will be even worse.

Trump 2020 in Wisconsin is a foregone conclusion if the next set of draconian voter eligibility rules are enacted. And I doubt the Wisconsin court system will stop them.

It would have been better if they were running against each other for POTUS though

Julia-Louis-Dreyfus was a lousy VP, no reason to believe she would be a good president.

Oprah's better than Trump, but so would be Orrin Hatch, but she'd be zero change. She's a ****ing billionaire. They're all miscreants.

Mark Zuckerberg.

Oprah will dominate in the fat, useless, entitled, living with mom, demographic.

But those pictures of her kissing Harvey Weinstein will do a lot of damage.

Yeah, like that video of trump claiming he sexually assaults women totally destroyed his presidential run.

Still unclear why knowing a sexual assaulter is worse than being one.

if you rob a jewel thief, you have millions of dollars worth of valuable rare jewels, and yourself become a master jewel thief.

if you kiss a rapist, all their rapes are now on you. and we can elect the same rapist twice but 2 different rapists in a row obviously spells disaster for democrats and our nation.

If Trump 2017 has taught the US anything its to let the politicians deal with politics. These celebrity TV stars might be popular but have no idea how actual politics works.

Trump needs fat, useless people to poll at just 30%. Losing them is losing his base.

Nah. Trump is a special kind of dumb. I'm sure average celeb is dumb and he's dumber than that. I think it's possible for a smart celeb who is motivated to do a passable job. At least good enough that it would be a massive improvement over Trump.

In fact, I'm pretty sure if you threw all "celebs" who are of age to be pres, threw their names in a hat, and picked one at random, you would almost be a lock to still get a massive improvement over Trump.
01-12-2018 , 09:54 PM
That is true, but let's not be recruiting them for president.

If they're interested in politics, they need a stint in the minors.

01-13-2018 , 12:01 AM
Yeah. Seemed like more of a front door VEEP reference.
