Who Will Be The 2016 Republican Nominee? (It's Donald Trump) Who Will Be The 2016 Republican Nominee? (It's Donald Trump)

This is turning into American Idol where people who know they can't win are just over the top bad in hopes of still getting on TV for a bit.

Just remember that I picked him early in this thread before half of you even knew who he was.

Now what odds will you give me on a Kasich-Kerry election?

By the way, all those people who said that Kasich erred by announcing last probably don't play holdem very well either.

David, Kerry is a good pick for the Dems, as Hillary and Biden seem destined to fall flat.

I think he could do well in a general election too. He may be their best shot, something I would never have believed 5 to 10 years ago.

Last time the Dems nominated a guy who'd already gotten the nom once and lost the general election was 1956, and it might be the only time they ever did.

They don't even like nominating people who'd ever run before, unlike the Rs who seem to love guys the 2nd time around.

The GOP broke their pattern in 2000, picking a guy who had never run in the primaries before, it may be time for the Dems to break their pattern this year.

With less than six months until the voting starts they need a ready to go candidate, as the only ones running so far are clearly not ready to do this. (bunch of 2nd stringers and a flawed Hillary)

Kerry is the guy.

You serious?

8th after announcement bump in a field of clowns and you're going to crow like a cock?

Kerry is damaged goods and is too old. Would be a horrible move on the Democrat side.

On the other hand, I'd vote for Gore.

New Trump Interview

Quote:
Scholla asked Trump whether he would seek out Palin’s counsel or might he bring her along in an “official capacity” in the event of a Trump administration.

“I’d love that because she really is somebody that knows what’s happening,” Trump responded. He noted that her “following that is unbelievable,” calling those supporters a “tremendously loyal group of people out there for her. I think now maybe more so than ever.”
Spoiler:

07-27-2015 , 05:45 PM
Kerry is 4 years older than Hillary
Kerry is 1 year younger than Biden

Gore has established himself as a weirdo in the last 15 years.

If it's Kasich-Kerry, you can ban/delete all my accounts.

If not, I get a custom color or undertitle.

Kasich vs. Kerry? WTF am I even reading.
07-27-2015 , 07:07 PM
I feel like everyone lol-ing at Kasich for having no chance of making headway in this field has given him a chance.

I have heard his name way more in the past week or two than I have Christie, Jindal, Santorum etc...

I don't think its that out of the question that Kasich puts together a half-decent run at Jeb! in the semis (the not crazy bracket) for the right to be heads-up against whoever emerges from the crazy bracket to go for the nomination.
07-27-2015 , 07:35 PM
Are we just cataloging people with zero chance of being president? 'Cause like, me and my cats haven't declared, and I'm unsure about how cat years work, but I'm pretty sure we've got as good a chance as John Kerry. Maybe better, since they're pretty cute cats.

This is not an offer bit 50 to 1 seems short. I would not mind that outcome.

Has the corpse of FDR declared yet?

Not sure what the constitution says about requiring a heartbeat

Kerry is still kicking and only 4 years older than Hillary.

I can't imagine a future where Hillary is President

I can't imagine a future where Biden is President (beyond the end of this current 4 year term)

I can't imagine a future where Sanders is President

I can't imagine a future where O'Malley is President

Kasich has an outside shot since the party is in disarray, but Kerry... Kerry doesn't even have a campaign team together. Only chance for him is if Hillary Biden and Bernie all have heart attacks.

There's no Obama-esque character in the sequel
07-27-2015 , 07:55 PM
Kerry was a terrible candidate in 2004, lol at the Dems ever nominating him again.
