Who Will Be the 2012 Republican Presidential Nominee? Who Will Be the 2012 Republican Presidential Nominee?

I'd vote for Paul/Cain or Cain/Paul, otherwise I'll just vote libertarian. But Romney's gonna be the nominee ldo and Obama's gonna win in 2012 anyway

book it

Lol at linking Paul with Cain.

Ron Paul and Herman Cain would never run on the same ticket. Cain has already announced he does not think Paul would be a good choice.

I'm holding out for the Farrakhan /David Duke ticket.

Pretty sure Ron Paul would have to offer Cain a much lengthier reading list than the one he offered Rudy Giuliani...

Its been going on from the founding of the country.

Please, Please, Please spend an hour researching the campaign rhetoric between Jefferson and Adams.
Please elaborate on this statement. Everyone seemed to quote this for truth and I'd like to know exactly what you mean.

Like Nixon, Newt is ready to be President...
And enough of the this "likeabilty" nonsense...
This is a time to kick ass and make some enemies...
It's time US President was feared by Bad Guys again.

We want the entire DC political/media Nobility...
To **** bricks as SOMEBODY drains the swamp.

What's really interesting is the Tea Party wing...
Has decided Cain is not qualified (true)...
And has swung hard for Newt.

Tea Party vote has swung from 60% Palin...
To, briefly, 50% Cain...
And now to 50% Gingrich...
Who was always 2nd choice...
(With Romney permanently mired at about 10%).

It's Tea Party versus GOP/Bush/Rove Establishment.

http://hotair.com/archives/2011/11/1...urvey-results/

For the Tea Party movement...
It would be better if Obama trashes USA 4 more yrs...
Than electing squishy, RINO, deal-maker Romney.

Would Romney hire a Special Prosecutor...
And apply RICO statutes to Wall Street and Goldman...
And put dozens of these fraud artists behind bars?

NO.

Would Romney hire Special Prosecutor...
To apply RICO statutes to Chicago political class...
And put these Chicago Mafia Dynasties behind bars?

NO.

But Gingrich has the balls...
And GOP may control Congress + Executive Branch.

I'll say it again: none of these guys running for the nomination will be the VP.

I figure the republicans have about a 6 month window for the economy to take a major negative downturn for them to have a chance. Anything after that (say Europe implodes) will be too close to the election for people to be ANGRY and FED UP! They'll view it more like a crisis mode and we need Obama to steer us through (or at least clean up his mess like GWB with Iraq, or something).

I love how multiple people have cast Mitt Romney as the "establishment/beltway" candidate for his zero years of being employed by the federal government, while Newt Gingrich is the Tea Party outsider as someone who was first elected to Congress in 1980.

Yeah Obama has been a big pussy to the Bad Guys of the world. He's been soft on Al Queada, that's the big problem that we need career politician Newt Gingrich to clean up.

Seriously you might at least try to keep up with current events. No one cares about your stale internal monologue based on republican talking points from 2008 that were never true to begin with.

The problem is the people who use this rhetoric invariably have almost no idea what Barack has even done beyond what Drudge tells you to think.

The irony is you sound the same as those you criticize.

Please list the specific horrible things Barack is doing to "ruin this country" that Mitt Romney would do differently.

People forget that for 4 years (1995-99)...
As Speaker of the House...
Newt was 3rd in line to the Presidency.

It was:

Bill Clinton
Al Gore
Newt Gingrich

It is an odd characterization, but the fact is that the GOP has forever been nominating candidates on the basis of, "Okay, it's this guy's turn." It seems pretty evident that the powers that be of the Republican party have nodded in Romney's direction for that role this time.

So you actually believed that Gore would need to resign, then while the position was not filled, Clinton would have to resign under the 25th Amendment? Then bingo, Newt is potus. The West Wing was a fine show, but it was a fictional universe, very important to remember that.

I think RedMan's whole life is lived in a fictional universe of his own making.

During the same period, Strom Thurmond was 4th in line for the Presidency. Your point?

I dread to think whats more scary to the bad guys than the drone assassinating, seal team six sending, airstrike launching and, gadaffi toppling badass that is Obama. While ordinary Americans have nightmares about terrorists, terrorists have nightmares about Barack. His name now translates into Islam as "the oncoming storm".

Third in line today is... *checks wikipedia* ...Daniel Inouye?
