If I get offended by black parents cheering a kids injury so a black QB can play that makes me a conservative huh?

Probably shouldn't have said hate but it's a fact that most republicans are racist therefore Cain has no chance of being the nominee.

I'm sure Frum is. Or bitter party cast-out at the least.

Sure that X is a big number, but so what? The size of it doesnt determine if its the correct number and given America is the worlds largest economy and a highly mature economy with a relatively small population its not surprising at all that it takes more migrants than lots of other countries.

So X is better than X+1? Why? What is the evidence for this, who worked this out and how?

This ignores entirely the fact it also sustains Y illegal migrants too.
Phil do you have one clue about the current need for unskilled labor in today's economy and more importantly the future economy?

LOL. I like Huntsman but people who say stuff like this have confused the word smart with liberal.

I dont need to. No one does, that is the beauty about relaxed migration, its a self correcting system.

I guess it would be nice if we got offended ANY TIME someone cheers for someone else getting injured while playing a game. Does that make me a liberal?

Lol at you.
Yeah, and how many of them have held elective office? More then once? How many of them are considered prominent figures in the party? Probably none of them. These are the equivalents of Joe the Plumbers.

Just because they've been in office and many have been national figures in the party for many years doesn't mean they're representative at all of Republicans.

I can say that my father always considered himself a lifelong republican/conservative. And within the last 10 years or so he's convinced the party has completely lost it and moved away from what it meant throughout his life.

Its been interesting to watch as all my life he would rail against liberals and democrats and now he's repulsed by the Republicans. Now the only Republican in my family is my born-again brother who basically main-lines FOX news whenever he's home.

He's a Burkean conservative, and British in origin. So British conservative = liberal Democrat in the US (no, seriously, Cameron is to the left of Obama in many ways). Thank you bass-ackwards politics.

Exactly,I only personally witnessed that once at a high school game. Also I remember seeing it on sportscenter about ten years ago when Chris Chandler and Michael Irvin were injured.I also remeber when I was a kid Browns fans cheering a Terry Bradshaw injury. It's equally offensive to me to see anyone cheering an injury regardless of race.

Final nail in Perry's Coffin?

Quote:
Texas Gov. Rick Perry has come out against the marketing of a Confederate license plate in his state, an issue that could come up again in his bid for the Republican presidential nomination.
10-27-2011 , 05:00 PM
I don't think any candidate would want to touch that issue in a debate, at least those with a realistic shot at the nomination.
10-27-2011 , 05:34 PM
Apparently Gary Johnson missed the filing deadline for NH...won't be on the ballot.

Smart guy.
10-27-2011 , 05:38 PM
Rather than it being the final nail it might just be him rolling the dice.

Smart guy.
It creates an excuse to drop out and might get him some media attention. If he fails to get into the upcoming debates I'd expect him to end his campaign and endorse Paul.

OK I need a ruling on the field: is this racist or not?

I feel like it wouldn't be nearly as funny with a white presidential candidate.
