Seems like it would be a military / natsec person with these reports on Syria. They gave a spray-tanned baby the keys to the Batmobile and everyone is punch drunk from lib trolling and sweet tax cuts. Meanwhile, the Bat phone is ringing with warnings of a major military confrontation with Russia.

Unless the op-ed writer volunteers to come forward, it may be years before we know who it is. I don't believe he will be outed. Finking is too much like flipping, and we all know that should be illegal.
