Can Russians not leave the country? Because that’s where I see the end state of Athena US if things go south from here.

Now if you’re Muslim and they start openly talking about camps...

I’m out of the country for a year or so and actively looking for somewhere to settle to ride out the Trump train. I feel guilty about leaving though.

I'm looking at somewhere in Latin America. At least from everything I've seen so far in Mexico, it's wonderful down here and super cheap.

I massively prefer the vast majority of Mexicans I've met to about 40% of Americans at this point. Also there aren't too many Trumpfan expats - at least once you get more than a day's drive away. Well Baja is kind of a minefield. But the mainland is almost all sane expats.

I'm also interested in Guatemala potentially.

Only key is I need to be at some altitude because the sun and heat don't agree with me so much.

I thought that was what this thread was about to, until some liberal on here inquired of an apparent conservative what his or her ethnicity/race was. Many liberals reduce everything to race, gender, ethnicity, and/or sexual identity.

I just found it amusing (okay, I admit that I'm easily amused

) that many of the folks who want to flee America are the biggest champions of racial and ethnic diversity, yet they usually want to go somewhere less ethnically and racially diverse than the U.S.
