How do you reform an entire government without an attempted violent overthrow?

I've said in the past that Russia has more in common with the United States than people are willing to acknowledge. This upcoming inevitable confirmation of a rapist to the highest court in the land is not something that happens in functioning democracies. It happens in dictatorships disguised as democracies.

I don't. Breaking **** should be reserved for when the system is so rigged that the good guys can't win fairly, yet the recent election results show we can still win. I don't see it getting dramatically worse in the next two years.
