You're a liar, Trolly!

1. I don't "harass" anybody. I politely exercise my right to free speech in places where it is perfectly legal to do so. I (try to) treat all people with respect.

2. Trying to stop babies from being murdered isn't exactly a "hobby" of mine. My hobbies are chess and poker.

3. I agree that pregnant women are vulnerable, and killing babies is big business in America. I like to share with vulnerable women that they, and their baby, were "beautifully and wonderfully made." I respect the law of the land, and the women can freely choose to do as they will.

4. I would enjoy engaging Rep. Waters. As an open-air preacher, it's safe to say that I'm not afraid to engage anybody. I welcome sincere dialogue. (And the "feistier" the better!)

When I first made this post, it was meant as a joke (note the ).

Microbet suggested that he would show up to "counter-protest". I'm actually not interested in "protesting" Rep. Waters. But given that she is quite newsworthy right now, open-air preaching at/near her headquarters might prove fruitful.

I plead "guilty" to adhering to most "libertarian" ideals.

I'm definitely "pro-life."

Some people think I'm obnoxious. I, of course, respectfully disagree with them.

And coward.
As I suggested in another post, kinda weird to call someone who publicly (and in a loud voice in a crowd of people) proclaims unpopular ideas a "coward."

Joking aside, what do you think she's done wrong?

Are you "pro-life" or "pro-birth"?

This is like watching limit holdem players jam each other knowing, based on competence, which one will win.

I don't necessarily think that she's done anything wrong, since she made it clear after her initial call to "harass" Cabinet members that she wasn't advocating violence against people.

But if some weirdo calls for the harassment of Democrats and Progressives, she would be a hypocrite if she had a problem with that.

At the moment, I don't think she's necessarily done anything wrong.

(Obviously, she can't be upset if a restaurant owner denies her a seat in a restaurant, right?)

The harassment of dems and progressives for the sin of not being ok with children being taken from their parents and put in cages is not the moral equivalent of being rude to conservatives who are pro taking children from their parents and putting them in cages.

Many (most?) Dems and Progressives favor abortion rights, so some might say that harassing the pro-choice crowd is ok given that killing babies is at least as bad as putting children in cages. One can argue that both acts are vile, and thereby anyone who supports either one should be harrassed.

addendum: I don't think anyone should be publicly harassed.

I'd be upset if a restaurant owner wouldn't seat people just because they were upset that children were being kidnapped.

Ugh @ abortion derail. In theory it's possible that you could protest abortion one day, and protest Trumpism the next.

I called you a coward because immediately after microbet offered to take you up on a meet in front of Maxine Waters' house, you went radio silent.

The only thing weird about it is you playing dumb to that notion. That too is obnoxious.

Please see my posts #249 and #252. I didn't post anywhere for several days due to business and illness.

This is the bit I don't understand about pro-lifers: You believe that abortion is murder, yet you're against publicly harassing people who commit these supposed murders? If I thought that abortion was murder, I'd like to think I'd be doing some serious public harassment of those that carried it out.

Apologies for the further derail...

You raise an excellent point. I will respond in the Abortion thread. (Might not be until tomorrow, though; I'm just doing some quick lurking right now.)

I'm definitely "pro-life." I guess I'm "pro-birth" in the sense that I'm glad that some women have babies.

addendum: Could we discuss abortion topics in the abortion thread?

This would have been a good time to start:

Debs was noted for his oratory, and his speech denouncing American participation in World War I led to his second arrest in 1918. He was convicted under the Sedition Act of 1918 and sentenced to a term of 10 years. President Warren G. Harding commuted his sentence in December 1921.

You conveniently ignored post #235 and played dumb in post #240. Posts #249 and #252 don't absolve you of anything.

Post #235 didn't necessarily require a response on my part.

There is nothing I need to be "absolved" of. But thank you for sharing.

Lagtight,

I'm going out on a protest meetup with two other 2p2ers tomorrow (Occupy ICE). I might be able to get them to come counterprotest for a while if you want to protest at Maxine's office. Since you're Christian and all, maybe you want to join in and try to stop ICE from doing wrong to strangers who sojourn in our land.

Hi microbet,

I already have plans for the 4th. Since I live in Santa Ana and don't have a car, would you be interested in protesting/counter-protesting in OC sometime?

Please PM me. Thanks.

Says the guy who shows up in the thread on a daily basis for a week straight responding to literally every post remotely related to him.

Condescension doesn't change anything either.

To me, you are transparently full of **** and your posts are littered with tells. But that is neither here nor there, what I called you out on is what it is and you can't do anything about that. You could, however, gain an ounce of respect back if you actually are PMing microbet and actually do meet. Please include a live video feed of what I'm sure will be hilariously awkward and entertaining to watch.
