Yes, a majority of the kids were exercising their own free speech. Many others were trying to silence Mr. Shapiro (i.e. they were trying to create a sufficient disturbance to try to get Mr. Shapiro's talk cancelled).

It is unfathomable how smug the civility humping rich and the GOP are with this state of affairs. That the party which has won 6 of the last 7 popular votes has so little influence, so little input... that's not a recipe for stability. Especially given the geographic clustering, all the levers of power are in blue areas, most of the coast, most major cities, etc.

I don't know where Maxine Waters lives, but her office is at: 10124 S Broadway #1, Los Angeles, CA 90003.

I'm going to be working close to there today, so if you want to do our protest/counterprotest that would work out. Early afternoon lunch protest? Catered by Mom's BBQ on Imperial?
