Rejecting a proposal by Senator Ted Cruz of Texas to increase personnel in immigration courts with the hiring of 375 new judges, Mr. Trump suggested that many of the immigration judges could be corrupt, and he said that some lawyers who appear in their courtrooms are “bad people.”

“They said, ‘Sir, we’d like to hire about five or six thousand more judges,’” Mr. Trump said in a long and rambling speech to the National Federation of Independent Business. “Five or six thousand? Now, can you imagine the graft that must take place? You’re all small-business owners, so I know you can’t imagine a thing like that would happen.”

These people will all vote Trump over a Dem, but there could be decent primary battle if the GOP has exactly one person primary Trump. If they split the anti-Trump vote, no way.

For those asking what to do, the answer is direct action. Like ten people yelled at Nielsen in a restaurant last night and it made national news and got Trump's attention. Imagine what 1,000 surrounding an ICE detention facility (which appears to be happening in Portland) or 10,000 blocking off the entrances to Mar-a-Lago could do.

Marching and writing to your Congressman is nice and all, but those things do not disrupt the lives of the comfortable, which is what needs to be happening until this is fixed. And by "fixed" I don't mean the inevitable bull**** measure Congress passes that allows parents to stay in the cages with their kids, I mean the abolition of ICE and the prosecution of those in charge of it.

How about this clown renounces the Republican Party?

Being a Never-Trumper Republican is better than being one of the Trump bootlickers, but still makes you a horrible person.

I cannot imagine a scenario where Trumps fields a real primary challenge. But if there is one it will come from the right. ****ing Mitt Romney is calling Trump soft on immigration.

We are all part of the problem bro.

I think a lot of people are ready to do this, like right now, but I've been looking pretty hard and I can't find anything planned before June 30th.

Get in contact with your local DSA chapter. I don't know where you live but if there's stuff going on in my town of 35,000 I'm sure there are things planned in any city of significant size.

Yeah, this is why I can't fathom this situation dragging out--that means thousands more kids separated. And the country is overwhelmingly against this. People who didn't protest before are ready to go now. ****, I was looking at flights to McAllen, TX, and have contacted my reps multiple times. This is the sort of thing where there needs to be a riot.

Such good Christians. If anyone needed more proof that evangelicals are the nut low.
Christians are almost as bad as Republicans. People who believe in gods can't be trusted to behave honestly or rationally.

I'm not a violent man. In fact I generally abhor violence but if someone were to punch Corey Lewandowski as hard as they could in his smug stupid face I would celebrate that person.

That PAC that Lewandowski works for is Mike Pence’s PAC

I've been following Boston and nearby DSA. If anybody is planning any direct actions they're being awfully quiet about it and it won't include a lot of people. They could get thousands to the Boston ICE field office this weekend with a single tweet if they wanted, and due to that facility's location it could snarl traffic pretty bad on major roads with a bit of creative marching.
