Can't believe that harassing people at lunch is the left's most potent response when these *******s are abducting children. Weak tea.

How radical do you expect people to get? The cops might shoot you on sight and the GOP media machine has bystanders ready to run you down with their cars.

I mean, are you doing anything?

Don't mean that to be having a go at you, just saying it cant be surprising that nobody else is doing anything either.

Finally some sanity and I hope the judge starts handing out contempt citations when these ****ers inevitably fail to make good faith efforts to comply.

Any of the lawyers can correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe contempt of the failure to comply variety is a civil, not criminal, matter so Trump can't just make it go away, either.

How can they be so evil and incompetent at the same time? Amazing.

The location of another child's parent has been unknown for more than a year. Records show both parent and child might even be US citizens.

Some 75 of the 102 separated children have been determined eligible to be reunited with their families, according to the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).

But as of Tuesday afternoon, the government said it had only reunited four of those children with their parents.

It said it expected to reunite another 34 by the end of the day, in accordance with the deadline.

government officials have told at least four immigrant women that to get their children back, they'll have to pay for their own DNA tests to prove that they're related:

...in some cases because authorities took documents from adults proving they are related to their children....The tests are being administered by a private contractor on behalf of the [HHS'] Office of Refugee Resettlement, which oversees the care and housing of children. HHS has refused to name the contractor, which may be a violation of federal law.

HHS replied by claiming that they provide DNA tests free of charge, but reports from both the director for the immigrant shelter where the women are staying and an immigration lawyer who works with the shelter contradict that. The women are reportedly being told to pay between $700 and $800.

This corresponds with other stories of the government demanding steep fees to release immigrant children from custody....A construction worker in Los Angeles, for example, tried to take in a 14-year-old relative taken from her mother when crossing the border. The girl would only be released into the custody of a family member—and only if that family member paid $1,800 to fly her and an escort from Houston.
I'm guessing exactly zero of the mothers have $700 cash to fork over to get their child back. And that's probably per child.

Also, lol @ 1800 for a one-way flight from Houston to LA. Is the kid getting flown on a private jet?

If you're locking infants in jail, someone should profit from it amirite?

This is America. Literally everything is turned into a money making opportunity, and a large segment of our populace views this as a moral good.

Why can't a judge hold Kirstjjjjen Neijjjlson in contempt and throw her ass in the slammer until she complies with the court order?

The guidance, reviewed by CNN, also applies to refugee applicants -- immigrants seeking similar protections in the US who are still abroad.

Under new guidance given Wednesday to the officers who interview asylum seekers at the US' borders and evaluate refugee applications, claims based on fear of gang and domestic violence will be immediately rejected. In addition, the guidance tells officers they should consider whether an immigrant crossed the border illegally and weigh that against their claim, potentially rejecting even legitimate fears of persecution if the immigrant crossed illegally.
