Definitely worked out for the Japanese Americans.

And whites who tried to help the blacks gain political rights in the South after the Civil War up to the CRA

Wish the ones who say that and said Obama was not theirs would be insistently transported to another country.

Are you referring to #notmypresident? Incredible how quickly that became unpatriotic to say about Donald Trump when people had literally been saying it about Obama for the last 8 years. I look forward to Obama also being blamed for any Trump disasters under the guise of "waaaah, liberals made us elect him!"

Remember the reports for casting of a Conservative TV channel (IE: Trump TV) before the election well turns out it was a prank by Hulu.

So Trump infrastructure plan (which involves incentives for private companies to build profitable infrastructure, not direct public works) sounds like it will basically be a handout to companies for largely doing what they were going to do anyway. WaPo: Trump’s big infrastructure plan? It’s a trap:

Quote:
First, Trump’s plan is not really an infrastructure plan. It’s a tax-cut plan for utility-industry and construction-sector investors, and a massive corporate welfare plan for contractors. The Trump plan doesn’t directly fund new roads, bridges, water systems or airports, as did Hillary Clinton’s 2016 infrastructure proposal. Instead, Trump’s plan provides tax breaks to private-sector investors who back profitable construction projects. These projects (such as electrical grid modernization or energy pipeline expansion) might already be planned or even underway. There’s no requirement that the tax breaks be used for incremental or otherwise expanded construction efforts; they could all go just to fatten the pockets of investors in previously planned projects.
Whole thing worth reading.

Well the swamp isn't drained if you leave the money behind. Shocking that Trump would design a kickback plan for the construction industry.

Yeah this part bothers me the most. Too many liberals don't have guns and while not a liberal I do have a gun but feel like I would be seriously outgunned.

The coming social unrest really worries me given how heavily armed we are. Also the fact that NO ONE in the intelligence or Nat. Sec. communities is willing to work with this guy.
11-19-2016 , 10:54 PM
Guns can be got. Im more worried about their skill level since they have never had them.

Unfortunately for you trumps America hasn't started because this is still Obamas America right now till January

So the media is going to just do absolutely nothing. Like, Trump can make these ridiculously false claims that Ford called him and it is not going to be a news story. No real news? Disgusting.
11-20-2016 , 01:11 AM
The irony is the forced neutrality of the press means they end up amplifying his original lie. The headline will read 'Trump Says He Kept Ford's Auto Plant in the US' and you won't discover until paragraph three that it's all a lie.

Sure we agree in theory protesting is great and a cherished American right, but some cannot actually imagine a single form of protest they would find acceptable. Certainly not street protests. Not kneeling during the anthem. Not disrespecting the flag.

Maybe a letter to the editor? Or how about quiet reflection? Have protestors considered moving their protests inward, like keeping it in their inner monologue? Of course you can protest things that happen in this country, you have every right to, it's fundamental to democracy! But no one said your protest has to actually involve doing anything.

FYP. Just put the long string at the end in the Youtube brackets. Don't put the entire link.

Imagine actually believing the (Carlos slim owned) Washington post is not pushing it's own agenda with shïtty fake journalism. What are you going to cite next? CNN? Buzz feed? MSNBC?
