Yeah, it's one of the big reason the right wing in this country constantly whine about cultural and media "elites". It seems almost silly to think about today because the entertainment industry no longer really cares about many of these types of issues, but a comic book character killed the Klan and some folk singers helped force an end to Vietnam.

Talks tough now because she hasn't been within 50 miles of a prison her entire life. Once reality hits (if it actually does) she'll drop all of her so-called convictions for leniency.

That's the one thing I have drawn from many Trump supporters is that their convictions are a big joke. I brought this up in another thread, but my mother was anti-gay for most of her life but once my cousin came out to us, she was all of a sudden totally cool with it. Decades of being convinced of the immoralities of homosexuality went away as soon as reality hit.

that she does not have the mental capacity to realize she could simply switch to 2x2 signs... Or if she wanted to really thumb her nose at them, put up like eight 2x2 signs with small gaps between them.

Also, she is going to accrue fines of $100 to $1,000 a day, and since she's publicly acknowledged that she knows the law and intends to break it, I have to imagine that it's going to be on the high end. She'd be into six figure territory by the end of the year at $1K/day.

I bet there are 20 ordinance/law violations on my block right now. I know my trash cans are supposed to be out of the alley in the next 30 minutes, but that's not happening. Either disregarding stupid laws or stretching laws a little bit, like the speed limit or that sign rule or having one too few pieces of flair, is a good quality in America.

(More than 20. Everyone on the other side of the street parks facing the wrong way. )
