but it doesn't mean giving an inch, we have to stand up to them, protest etc. Then try to remember we can do most good when things are going our way (which unfortunately is when we are least motivated). Now we have to try to hold as much ground as possible and when this too has passed we have to reform and unite while it's fresh in the minds.

Brexit/trump/etc are a distasterous hit for our countries and the world but from disaster will come opportunity.

The scary thing is that there is so much fear, uncertainly, intolerance now, which is during a period of economic growth and low unemployment. What happens when a recession hits and Trump is president? And the job situation gets even worse?

The Deplorables get shook and realize the error of their ways, of course.

That would indeed be a fantasy worth dreaming about.

Amy Schumer is like the darling funny comedian on the left. Your standards for comedy have to be really low if you think she is funny. South Park has been trolling her this season with how bad she is. My vajajaaaaaaaaaay.

I'll take "things conservatives pretend are true to feel superior to liberals" for $1000, Alex!

I don't know what it is but female comedians just don't make me laugh. Part of it is because I don't have a vagina so I can't relate to women's things. But even non-pussy related things aren't all that funny. Seems that when comics like Sarah Silverman go dirty, it's like they're trying too hard.

I'm just talking about regular people dude.

Look how fun Trump rallies were. And then look at all the vegan male feminist males at Hilary rallies.

When Schumer first started her gig and started becoming popular she had a couple funny bits. Now it just gets old with the vagina thing, and the fact that she has gone super political is such a turn off.

Bill Burr is awesome, he doesn't seem conservative nor ultra left, but just buries the left from a neutral political position.

A take so hot you had to lazily evade a ban to drop it on us.

Comedy and comedians tend to be liberal because the best humour punches up. Truth to power, pointing out hypocrisy and all that. Conservatives support the status quo so it's harder to make jokes about how great WASPs have it and racist humour went out of style a long time ago.

American female comedians are all pretty terrible. I like Silverman but she's pretty hit and miss. There are good British female comedians.

Tig Notaro and Maria Bamford are world class as good as any men.

Sarah Silverman isnt at her peak but when she was she was absolutely ground breaking. Any Schumer is a little hit or miss but puts together a good set. Kristen Schaal is worth mentioning though her comedy is very niche.

Its fine if anyone doesn't like some or most of these comedians. If you don't like any of them, and all women comedians in general, you either hate comedy or hate women. Either way you're an idiot.

Samantha Bee has been doing alright, and she's funnier than most.

I like the show. She's pretty good but it's more that she has good writers than that she's naturally funny.

Her show had an interesting hiring process btw. It was purely done on written submissions. The people doing the hiring were blind as to the race, sex or experience level of the candidate.

Yeah, if we are including non stand ups she is awesome, and is making the best "fake news" comedy show, and just in terms of raw funny you gotta mention Ilana and Abbi from Broad City who created, star in and co write the funniest show on tv now.

And ended up being one of the most diverse. Funny how that worked out.

Meanwhile comedy network adult swim ceo doesn't think women are funny and commissioned an alt right comedy show that was reported to have bombed in testing. It is as sexist and racist as you would assume.

Ah forgot about her.

I was thinking Janeane Garofalo and Wanda Sykes when making my comments on female comedians.

Kristen Schall had a really weird bit on some BBC show that was included on an episode of RadioLab. The RL episode was called "Loops" and you'll see why.

Saw Susan Calman the other night. Very funny.
